Intermediate & Senior Phase

The Intermediate Phase consists of Grades 4, 5 and 6, Grade 7 falls under the Senior Phase. There are two classes in each grade. In the senior phases, we build on the foundations that have been laid in order to prepare our girls for higher education. We follow the National Curriculum Statement and do our utmost to ensure that all Erica girls will be able to meet the demands of high school.

Our experienced and caring staff aspire to give their learners the experience and the tools needed to help them make their own decisions, to be inventive, confident and equipped, so that each girl will eventually become a responsible and accountable member of society. We want to see well-rounded Erica girls and although academics is emphasised, we encourage each girl to participate in sport or cultural activities. Each grade also attends outdoor excursions where teachers and learners can interact informally and simply be adventurous and have loads of fun.
