APPLICATIONS
All applications are DIGITAL. No paper applications will be available.
The following documents are required for upload when making an application to the school:
- Learner ID
- Parent 1 and parent 2 ID
- Immunisation page from the Clinic Card
- Proof of address
- Proof of income (pay slip/bank statement etc.)
Once your application has been received you will be emailed two forms which we require you to complete and return to us via email. Please ensure that you keep an eye out for these forms, as they form an integral part of your daughter's application.
- Contract with School with regards to Payment
- Permission/Consent, Indemnity and Parent Declaration Form
GRADE 00
Grade 00 is now available. We know that parents are looking for seamless integration into the schooling system and we endeavour to make this journey easier. Grade 00 caters for children who are 4 turning 5 during the school year, this means that you will apply in the year that she is 3 turning 4. We hope that parents will feel confident in choosing Erica for the duration of their daughter's primary school career.
GRADE R
It can be a very stressful and confusing time applying to a Primary school when your daughter is still so young. To make it easier to understand, your daughter needs to be in Grade R in the year that she turns 6 years old, that means that you will apply in the year that she is 4 turning 5 years old.
Please note that our space in limited for Grade R as we do have Grade 00 learners who will progress into this grade.
CLOSING DATE FOR GRADE R APPLICATIONS: Monday, 8 April 2025.
GRADE 1-7
Applications for Grade 1-7 may be submitted for the remainder of the school year. We need to express that these applications are for a waiting list only.
We are only able to offer a learner a place at Erica, if a space becomes available due to another learner transferring out of our school.
Please note that as Erica Girls' Primary School offers a Grade R class, Grade 1 has very limited space available, we therefore cannot guarantee space being available in Grade 1 for the upcoming academic year. Please ensure to apply to more than one school when making an application for Grade 1.
