Gail Penny
is a beloved Grade 7 teacher. She has a dry sense of humour, which our girls very quickly begin to enjoy. Miss Penny wanted to become a Marine Biologist specialising in the Orca, however, teaching was a more affordable profession. She loves to make education fun and challenging for her learners for them to see the world beyond their own. She also has a little fetish for chocolate (specifically Mint Aero) and is an avid gamer!
Elaine van Zyl
is a keen tennis star, who spent a few years travelling and playing tennis at an international level for her age group. Now teaching Grade 7, Miss van Zyl is down-to-earth and enjoys making a difference in the lives of the girls that she teaches. Interestingly, she can touch her nose with her tongue, and lives life by the motto: Go big or go home!
Wendy Willis
is East London born and bred. She graduated with a Masters in Education Management and teaches Grade 7 Maths and also fills the role of our Deputy Principal. A whiz with numbers, Mrs Willis relaxes by reading, being in nature and walking. She would like to walk the Camino de Santiago one day!
Andiswa Giyose
teaches Grade 7 Life Orientation and Xhosa to our Gr 1 – 6 girls. She completed her Senior Education Diploma and Diploma in Remedial Education and Speech Therapy in 1998. Miss Giyose would one day like to participate in public speaking. She is known to be a person who loves people enthusiastically.
